Pets of the week: Two dozen black cats are available for adoption

JACKSON, MI – The Jackson County Animal Shelter, 3770 Spring Arbor Road, has many pets available for adoption.

Here are a few.

Flower is a 2 year old female Labrador retriever and black shepherd. Flower is fast and loves to run and be outdoors. She is friendly and seems to like most of her canine neighbors. However, Flower has yet to learn her basic commands or how to walk on a leash, but she could learn how to be a fantastic jogging buddy.

Calling all black cat lovers. The shelter has a lot of beautiful black cats from a hoarding situation. More than 24 strong black cats are on the floor at the moment. You can take your pick. Most have golden eyes, but there are also kittens with green eyes.

A meeting with a dog is compulsory. A tour of the chat room is available to test the reaction. The dog adoption fee is $ 150 for medium and large dogs and $ 250 for puppies and small dogs, which includes vaccinations, microchip, and sterilization.

The cat adoption fee is $ 60 for one cat, $ 80 for two, which includes applicable tests, vaccines, and sterilization.
